My name is Tracey Backhouse and I live with my husband and two children just outside Great Dunmow, Essex.
As a child I spent much of my life hanging from the apron strings of two enthusiastic parents & a Nan who baked. Since leaving home & raising my family this interest has stayed with me and grown into a real obsession (which my unhealthily large collection of cook books is testament to)
During the years waiting at the school gates and helping with the PTA I became accustomed to people telling me "I can't cook" and not being a person to shirk away from a challenge I took it on myself to teach a friend to bake. Spurred on by this 'friend' :0) I have now set up The Cookery Project from my Essex home.
With my Community Work & Pop Ups I hope The Cookery Project will share some inspiration whilst indulging my love of food.
If you have any enquiries please feel free to contact me.
Many Thanks
Tracey Backhouse
